Sustainable Global Experience™ (SGE) Online is an innovative programme designed by Pagoda Projects for students all over the world to come together online, learn about climate education and become Carbon Literacy Certified.
Students will complete Carbon Literacy Training and hear from international businesses and NGOs in the public and private sectors through a series of live, virtual sessions. They’ll participate in fun and friendly group discussions relating to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and explore global issues relating to climate change and carbon reduction.
This five-day virtual programme comprises of specifically designed workshops, webinars and academic webinars led by industry experts, business owners and non-profit representatives across a variety of sectors. The programme is limited to 30 students on a first come, first served basis.
Carbon Literacy Training has been developed by academics at Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) and accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project. The graining is delivered by Pagoda Projects’ certified Carbon Literacy Trainers and following completion of the programme, students will receive official Carbon Literacy Certification to demonstrate their understanding of key climate issues and contribute to a more climate-literate society.

• The Role of Education in Delivering Zero CarbonIn small groups, students will complete an Enquiry-Based Learning (EBL) project and presentation. EBL assignments encourage students to ‘learn through experience’ and develop their understanding by investigating and asking questions. It’s a great opportunity for students to put their newly discovered skills and theory into practice.
