Parents are invaluable members of the school community and our AHSS team has designed  and delivered many workshops for parents with valuable insights and practical strategies to support them and their child’s educational and personal development. All of these workshops aim to equip parents and caregivers with the tools and knowledge to foster a positive and nurturing environment at home. Some of our recent workshops include:

• Understanding the importance of speech/language skills for academic learning
• Playing to develop cognition, learning, social and problems-solving
• Shared book reading at home: how and how often?
• Re-thinking behaviour management to facilitate students’ self-regulation
• Building your child’s resilience
• Using prompting, cueing, and reinforcement at home.
