Since 1991, CreativeKids has committed to advance creative development in children and teenagers, bond families and mobilize communities with art, design and architecture programs. Our comprehensive and age-appropriate and award-winning after school art and design programs for youngsters aged 1.5 to 18 are designed to foster flexibility and adaptability to thrive in the ever-changing world of the 21st century.
For over three decades, CreativeKids has been integrating art and design to develop children’s creativity. Art is intuitive and design is problem-solution-focused. We strive to develop children to ask like an artist, answer like a designer, and articulate space like an architect. Our approach has helped countless students reach their education and career goals. Beyond painting pretty pictures; purpose-driven art and design education develops creative qualities, motivation and discernment for a rapidly changing world.
We also offer Creative Parenting workshops, private events and HeART program & consultations for Special Needs.
Description :
Design Foundation Program (Age 8-12)
Our popular design program is tailored for children who are passionate about 3D creativity. It lays a solid foundation for future pursuits in design and architecture disciplines. We integrate KiDesign and Young Architect modules to introduce design principles, elements, problem-solving and visualization.
Children learn technical skills such as idea sketching, model-making, and presentation. They also explore design history and styles of innovative designers, considering form, function and aesthetics.KiDesign (Age 12-18)
The cross-curricular and STEAM-based KiDesign program links design, architecture, science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Through design thinking, research, and problem-solving, students engage in project themes inspired by nature, traditions, human needs, and environmental concerns. The program encourages creativity and innovation while developing skills in critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. Students gain an understanding of the practical applications of design and its impact on society.Young Architects Program (Age 12-18)
This light-hearted program engages teenagers to explore the built environment across cultures and time. By approaching architecture as a discipline that draws upon different fields of knowledge such as engineering, mathematics, science, design, art, and urban planning, students learn the principles of architecture such as order, balance, form, space, function, aesthetics, and sustainability. With hands-on practice, students gain mastery over making visual mock-ups models, generating ideas, and constructing more elaborate models.Age Range :
