AISL Academy is a global learning professional development platform for educational specialists who will have access to the latest and best practices of pedagogy, professional learning and social development, within an international, interactive and interconnected setting. Built upon AISL Harrow Schools’ pillars of strengths and excellence, the Academy is a collection of high quality and high impact certified and accredited courses, dedicated panel discussions and shared learning events, targeting educators including but not limited to international education professionals, and educators of both international and bilingual K-12 education.

Scratch is the world’s largest coding community for children from 8 to 16 years old, and it is a coding language with a simple visual interface that allows young people to create digital stories, games, and animations. Scratch is designed, developed, and moderated by the Scratch Foundation, a nonprofit organisation. Scratch promotes computational thinking and problem-solving skills; creative teaching and learning; self-expression and collaboration; and equity in computing. Scratch is always free and is available in more than 70 languages. ScratchJr is a simplified version for younger children from 5 to 7 years old.

GIMP, or GNU Image Manipulation Program, is a free, open-source software for raster graphics editing. It is a powerful tool for tasks such as photo retouching, image composition, and digital art creation. GIMP is available for various operating systems, including GNU/Linux, macOS, and Windows.

KidLit TV is an award-winning online video resource for parents, educators, librarians, and fans of children’s literature to discover children’s books and connect with their creators. It provides a variety of content such as author and illustrator interviews, story time readings, drawing tutorials, and book trailers through its website and YouTube channel. The platform is designed to reinforce an appreciation for reading in children.

MIT OpenCourseWare (OCW) is a free and open publication of educational materials from thousands of MIT courses, available online to anyone. It includes materials such as syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, exams, and sometimes video lectures and textbooks, but it does not offer academic credit or certification. The initiative was launched to provide a broad range of MIT’s curriculum freely and openly, inspired other institutions to share their own open educational resources, and allows users to learn at their own pace.
